We, Terrified of Tomorrow, exist to provide a beautiful sonic experience to our listeners, blending the sounds of pop, blues, and R&B music that we love so much. A new band born out of Long Island, Terrified of Tomorrow is diving into their musical career full steam ahead. They enjoy attending concerts and working behind the scenes as much as they are passionate about being on stage. Our five members came together in September of 2023, combining their talents in pursuit of musical creativity.
Leading vocalist Jeremiah Mcleod is from Queens, New York and has been singing and performing since the very young age of 5. He started at his church in Brooklyn performing every Sunday for the large crowds that would come in. He gained more performing experience as he would go on and perform at many different events in and out of church as well as school events.
Hailing from Warwick, Rhode Island, the music enthusiast Sara Bowles decided to burst onto the scene with drum sticks in hand. Dabbling in various instruments throughout her life, she found the solace and thrill she was searching for when her father began teaching her songs on the drums. She spends any free time she can jamming with her housemates on covers and projects for Terrified of Tomorrow.
Born and bred in the Wild West, Jill Kenny grew up playing guitar and singing in her hometown of Scottsdale, Arizona. With an upbringing filled with music, Jill has always been involved in music in some capacity, but picking up a guitar and singing her favorite songs has always been a very personal experience for her. She is excited to be strumming out of her comfort zone for the masses to hear for the first time alongside her bandmates, all of whom are just as terrified of tomorrow as she is.
Nicole Woolf from Attleboro, Massachusetts has been playing piano since the third grade. She has a longstanding history with the arts that has continued even after a childhood full of musical theater and dance. With years of stage experience she has worked on countless musical productions, but most notably she has spent two months as the keys player for up and coming musical group Terrified of Tomorrow.
Armani Carden, from Westchester, New York has been singing for more than 10 years. Being a part of School of Rock for 3 years, to gain more performing experience. She has a versatile taste in music, she has performed Motown, Funk and R&B, USA, Queen, and 80’s Radio Pop. She has also been a part of musicals and choirs. With her recent experience of helping to mix and master her uncle, Radio B’s recent album, she plans on using those skills on Terrified of Tomorrow’s new and upcoming projects.
Terrified of Tomorrow draws on the influences of artists like Coco Jones, Omar Apollo, and Jazmine Sullivan to represent our belief in hopeless optimism and relentless perseverance in the abyss of the unknown.With new releases and a live performance in our future, you’ll want to stay up to date on all things terrifying by following us on Instagram @terrifiedoftomorrow and keeping an eye on our website.
