Terra ("the app", "we") is a travel-tracking app built to keep your data on your device. The short version: we don't collect your personal data, and Terra has no ads. Questions: viktor.lorentz@gmail.com
What stays on your device
• Your travels — countries, visits, dates, ratings, notes, bucket lists — are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to us or anyone else.
• Photos you attach are selected via the Android Photo Picker and stored locally; they are not uploaded.
• Your account — Terra uses a local username and password stored only on your device (the password is salted and hashed). We do not collect an email address, and your credentials never leave the device.
Data we collect
None. Terra does not have user accounts on our servers, does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not transmit your travel data, photos, or credentials off your device.
Payments
The optional one-time "unlock everything" purchase is processed by Google Play Billing. We never receive or store your payment details.
Deleting your data
There is no account on our servers to delete. To remove all on-device data, clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall the app.
Children
Terra is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
