The March On Rollins ICE Protest

On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, after the 5th period, 600-700 Big Hollow Middle School students formed in the main atrium and demanded to leave. The reason for this sudden protest of BHMS students was due to the extremism of ICE in America. Protected by US rights, the staff had to open the doors. For the next 2 hours, all 600-700 students walked around the Big Hollow campus, even leaving the campus, and the cops were called a whopping 9 times to contain the protestors. It got so “extreme” to the cops that ICE deportation was called to help contain the “dangerous” situation, as called by local police. A friend of mine who chose to protest later stated in an interview, “We walked 3 times around the middle school and even to the elementary building.” Me: “How many times were the cops called?” Friend: “9 times because kids left campus.” It was later revealed that all of the BHMS staff were bringing kids back into the school. All students were returned at around 2:20 PM. Another interview with a BHMS student over text stated the following in a text, “Broski L walked out to protest the protesters, he said ice is just doing his job and that the bombing of Venezuela was good,” which this statement was proven true by other interviewed students. The identity of L is kept secret for their safety. More interviewed students tell of another protest against ICE on February 18 at around the same time. So far, teachers and staff are unaware of the possible protest tomorrow.
