This Privacy Policy describes how CMG Technical ("Service Provider", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the TerraLog mobile application ("Application" or "TerraLog").
By using TerraLog, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
TerraLog is designed to help users create, manage, store, scan, and export records using their mobile device.
TerraLog may process information depending on the features you choose to use, including:
Information that you enter into the Application
Farm, field, crop, harvest, or other records created in the Application
GPS coordinates when you use the location feature
Images or documents captured or scanned through the Application
Text recognized from scanned documents when you use the text-recognition feature
Technical information required by Google and Android services used by the Application
TerraLog does not require you to create an account or provide your name, phone number, or email address in order to use the Application.
TerraLog may request access to your device's location when you choose to use GPS or location-based features.
Location information may be used to:
Record GPS coordinates associated with a farm, field, or other record
Display or manage location information within the Application
Include GPS coordinates in exported files such as CSV, KML, or KMZ
Location permission is requested when the relevant feature requires it. You may deny or revoke location permission through your device settings.
TerraLog does not intentionally transmit your stored GPS coordinates to servers operated by CMG Technical.
TerraLog uses local storage/database functionality to store application records and related information on your device.
Depending on the features you use, locally stored information may include:
Farm and field records
Crop and harvest information
GPS coordinates
Images
Scanned documents
PDF files
Other information entered or generated through the Application
CMG Technical does not operate a cloud database for automatically synchronizing these records.
TerraLog may provide document scanning and text-recognition functionality.
The Application may use:
Google ML Kit Document Scanner
Google ML Kit Text Recognition
Android CameraX
These technologies may process images or documents as necessary to provide scanning and text-recognition functionality.
Scanned documents may be saved as PDF files on your device.
TerraLog does not intentionally upload your scanned documents to servers operated by CMG Technical.
TerraLog allows users to export, download, or share information using supported file formats and features.
These may include:
CSV
KML
KMZ
Exported CSV, KML, and KMZ files may contain information from your records, including GPS coordinates if you have recorded location information.
PDF files may contain scanned documents or other information that you have saved in TerraLog.
Exporting, downloading, or sharing a file is initiated by you.
When you share or transfer a file to another application or service, such as an email, messaging, cloud-storage, or file-sharing service, that third party may receive, store, or process the information contained in the file according to its own privacy policy.
CMG Technical does not control how third parties handle information after you choose to share or transfer a file.
TerraLog may request camera access for document scanning or other camera-related functionality.
Camera access is used only to provide the relevant feature.
TerraLog does not intentionally collect or upload camera images to CMG Technical's servers.
TerraLog uses certain Google and Android services to provide Application functionality, including:
Google Play Services Location — for location-related functionality.
Google ML Kit Document Scanner — for document scanning.
Google ML Kit Text Recognition — for text recognition and OCR.
Google Play In-App Updates — for application update functionality.
These services may process information necessary to provide their respective functionality in accordance with the applicable terms and privacy policies of those service providers.

CMG Technical does not sell your personal information.
TerraLog does not intentionally share your farm records, GPS coordinates, scanned documents, or other locally stored application data with CMG Technical's servers.
Information may be disclosed where required by law or where necessary to comply with a valid legal process.
Information may also be processed by third-party services when you voluntarily use a feature that relies on such a service or when you choose to export, download, or share a file through another application or service.
TerraLog stores application records and files locally on your device.
You may delete records or files using the deletion functionality provided by the Application, where available.
You may also remove locally stored Application data by uninstalling TerraLog or clearing the Application's data through your device settings.
Exported or downloaded files that have been saved outside TerraLog are not controlled by the Application. You are responsible for deleting those copies from your device or from any third-party service where you have stored or shared them.
Because TerraLog primarily stores records locally on your device, CMG Technical does not retain a server-side copy of your locally stored application records.
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the Application.
Because much of TerraLog's information is stored locally on your device, you should also use appropriate device security measures, including a secure screen lock and keeping your operating system updated.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
TerraLog is not intended for children under 18 years of age, unless permitted with appropriate parental or guardian involvement where required by applicable law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to CMG Technical, please contact us so that appropriate action can be taken.
TerraLog does not intentionally transfer your locally stored farm records, GPS coordinates, or scanned PDF documents to servers operated by CMG Technical.
Third-party services used by TerraLog, including Google services, may process information in countries outside your country of residence in accordance with their own policies and applicable law.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
Request access to personal information held by us
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of personal information
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
Object to or restrict certain processing
Exercise other rights provided by applicable privacy laws
