I like to identify two aspects of tactics. Firstly, tactics are typically what order you play cards in a particular generation to get the most points for the same investment, mostly by doing things before your opponents can do them. Secondly, there are a lot of ways to score points, and each category of point scoring is explored as a separate tactic.
