Formigo – Terms of Service

1) Acceptance & Eligibility
By installing or using Formigo (“App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. If you are a minor under applicable law, your parent/guardian must accept these Terms on their own and your behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2) Service Description (Offline by Design)
Formigo provides offline tools for file conversion, document/ID scanning, OCR, PDF and image editing. All processing happens locally on your device. Your documents are not uploaded to our servers. Network access may be used only for ads (in the free tier), purchase verification, subscriptions, and optional updates.
3) License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the App on devices you own or control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with or without notice and assume no liability arising therefrom.
4) Acceptable Use
You may not use the App for unlawful purposes, infringe third-party rights, attempt reverse engineering, decompilation, disassembly, derivative works, or bypass any security. You are solely responsible for the legality of content you scan/convert/export.
5) Your Content (Local Processing; No Server Upload)
You retain all rights to your files. The App processes your content on-device; we do not receive or host it. If you choose to share/backup via third-party services, you do so at your discretion and subject to those services’ terms/policies.
6) Fees, Purchases & Subscriptions
The App offers free (ad-supported), one-time premium, and subscription (monthly/annual) plans. Billing and refunds are handled by Google Play Billing; we do not store your payment data. Manage or cancel subscriptions via Google Play → Account → Subscriptions. Taxes may apply based on your billing info.
7) Ads & Third-Party Services
The free tier shows ads via Google Mobile Ads SDK. In the EEA, Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) may present consent choices for personalized/non-personalized ads. Third-party services (Google Play, Google Ads, etc.) are governed by their own terms/policies; to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for third-party services.
Analytics & Event Logging
In addition to ads and billing, the App integrates limited analytics (Google Firebase, Facebook App Events) to measure usage (e.g., app opens, first installs, stability). These services operate under their own terms and policies. No document content is transmitted.
8) Privacy
Your documents are not uploaded to our servers; processing is on-device. Limited data may be processed by Google services for billing or ads. See our Privacy Policy for details:

9) Intellectual Property
The App, name, logo, and related assets are owned by gncsolitions and protected by IP laws. No rights are transferred to you beyond what is expressly granted here; using the App does not grant ownership in our IP.
10) “AS IS” – Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without any express or implied warranties (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation). The App does not constitute professional advice.
11) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, gncsolitions is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages (including lost profits, business, records, device/data damage, or content loss) arising from use of the App or third-party services.
Aggregate cap: for paid users, our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim; for free use, the cap is $0. Mandatory protections (e.g., willful misconduct, gross negligence, bodily injury) remain unaffected where required by law.
12) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold gncsolitions harmless from any claim, damage, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your unlawful use of the App, breach of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
13) Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, infrastructure outages, regulatory actions, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes).
14) Updates, Changes, Suspension
We may update these Terms to reflect technical, legal, or policy changes. Where reasonable, we will provide notice before effectiveness. Continuing to use the App after updates means you accept the updated Terms. We may modify/suspend/discontinue features to the extent permitted by law.
15) Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye. Unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hatay.
16) Severability; No Waiver
If any provision is found invalid/unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Failure or delay to exercise any right does not constitute a waiver.
