1. LICENSE
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and these Terms. You may not copy, decompile, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app or its content except as permitted by law.
2. PROFESSIONAL TOOL — IMPORTANT SAFETY DISCLAIMER
Coolbench is an educational and reference tool for trained HVAC/R technicians. It is not a substitute for:
• the equipment manufacturer's specifications, data plate, and charging charts;
• applicable building, electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-handling codes;
• proper training, certification, and licensed professional judgment.
Calculator results, charging targets, PT-chart values, refrigerant data, and AI Coach answers are estimates and general guidance. They may contain errors or may not apply to your specific equipment or situation. Always verify against manufacturer documentation and follow all applicable codes and safety procedures. You are solely responsible for the work you perform. Refrigerant handling can be hazardous; follow EPA and local regulations and use properly rated tools, especially for A2L and other flammable refrigerants.
3. AI COACH
The AI Coach generates answers using third-party artificial-intelligence services. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Do not rely on it for safety-critical decisions without independent verification. The AI Coach is limited to HVAC/R topics and may decline other questions. A daily usage limit applies. Do not enter personal, confidential, or sensitive information into the AI Coach (see our Privacy Policy).
4. EPA 608 EXAM PREPARATION
EPA 608 study and practice questions are provided for preparation purposes only. They are original study material and are not official EPA exam questions and do not guarantee a passing result on any certification exam.
5. PURCHASES
Coolbench Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks Pro features. Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to the Apple Media Services Terms. Because this is a one-time purchase (not a subscription), there is no recurring billing. Pro can be restored on your devices using the same Apple ID via "Restore Purchase." Refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies.
6. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to disrupt or overload our servers, abuse the AI Coach, circumvent purchase or usage limits, or use the app for any unlawful purpose.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The app, its design, text, data compilations, and original content are owned by DueTrack and protected by applicable laws. Trademarks and product names mentioned (e.g., refrigerant designations or third-party brands) belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and reference only.
8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DUETRACK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, EQUIPMENT DAMAGE, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR PERSONAL INJURY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP — INCLUDING RELIANCE ON ANY CALCULATION, DATA, OR AI-GENERATED CONTENT. TO THE EXTENT LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, IT IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP.
10. APPLE
These Terms are between you and DueTrack, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them. Any app-related maintenance, support, and warranty obligations are ours, not Apple's, except as required by law.
11. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer-protection laws provide otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory rights you have as a consumer.
12. CHANGES
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above and posting the revised Terms at this URL. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
