# Terms of Use — DrawLens

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the DrawLens iOS application ("the App"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
## 1. What DrawLens is
DrawLens projects reference images — from our built-in template catalog or your own photo library — onto real surfaces through your device's camera using augmented reality, so you can trace them by hand. The App requires a device that supports Apple's ARKit and camera access to run AR sessions.
## 2. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. Where these Terms are silent, Apple's standard [Licensed Application End User License Agreement](https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) applies.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
## 3. Free features and DrawLens Pro
Parts of the App are free, including the Faces template category and tracing your own photos. Other template categories and features require a paid unlock ("Pro"), available as:
- **Weekly subscription** — includes a **3-day free trial** for eligible new subscribers, then renews automatically each week at the price shown on the paywall until cancelled.
- **Lifetime unlock** — a one-time purchase, offered at several price points that you choose between ("name your price"). All lifetime price points unlock exactly the same features, permanently.
### Subscription terms (auto-renewal)
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if not cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings (**Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions**). Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription or lifetime unlock.
### Lifetime purchases
Lifetime unlocks are one-time, non-recurring purchases tied to your Apple ID. The different price tiers are voluntary — choosing a higher tier grants no additional features.
### Restoring purchases
Use the "Restore" option on any paywall to regain access on a new device signed into the same Apple ID.
### Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled exclusively by Apple under their policies. You can request a refund at [reportaproblem.apple.com](https://reportaproblem.apple.com).
Prices may change for new purchases at any time; changes to existing subscription pricing follow Apple's notice and consent rules.
## 4. Acceptable use and safety
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. In particular:
- **Physical safety.** AR sessions ask you to move around real spaces while looking at a screen. Stay aware of your surroundings; do not use the App while walking in unsafe areas, near traffic, or on ladders or elevated surfaces (for example when projecting onto walls for murals).
- **Property.** Only draw or paint on surfaces you own or have permission to mark. You are solely responsible for any damage resulting from your drawing activities.
- **Intellectual property of traced content.** The App lets you trace images you supply. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use, reproduce, or commercially exploit any image you import and any resulting artwork. Tracing a copyrighted or trademarked work may require permission from its owner.
## 5. Content and intellectual property
The App, including its built-in template catalog, design, and software, is owned by Limbic Apps or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. The built-in templates are licensed to you for personal tracing use within the App; you own the physical drawings you create by hand.
Anything you type into the App (for example, the optional "something else?" onboarding answer) may be reviewed in aggregate to decide which template styles to add next.
## 6. Privacy
Our [Privacy Policy](./PRIVACY_POLICY.md) describes what data the App handles. In short: no account is required, your camera feed and artwork never leave your device, and limited anonymous data is shared with purchase, analytics, and attribution providers.
## 7. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AR tracking will perform identically on all devices, surfaces, or lighting conditions.
## 8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIMBIC APPS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR ARTWORK, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
## 9. Termination
These Terms apply until terminated. We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms. You may terminate at any time by deleting the App (note: this does not cancel an active subscription — cancel via the App Store first).
## 10. Changes to the App and these Terms
We may update, change, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may revise these Terms; the effective date above will change and, for material changes, we will provide in-app notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
## 11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, except where the mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise.
## 12. Apple-specific terms
These Terms are between you and Limbic Apps, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
