Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using Document Scanner ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Limbic Apps grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA), which is incorporated herein by reference.
Document Scanner offers optional paid subscriptions ("Document Scanner Pro") that unlock premium features.
Free trial — where available, a free trial period will be stated at the time of purchase. Your subscription begins at the end of the trial unless cancelled beforehand.
Billing — subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account at the price confirmed at purchase. Billing occurs at the start of each subscription period.
Auto-renewal — subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
Refunds — all purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple in accordance with their refund policy.
Price changes — if we change our subscription price, we will notify you in advance. Continued use after the price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.
You agree not to use the App to:
Scan, copy, or distribute copyrighted material without authorisation.
Scan documents to facilitate fraud, forgery, or any illegal activity.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App.
Use the App in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
The App and all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to design, text, graphics, logos, and code) are owned by Limbic Apps and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
You retain ownership of all documents and content you create or import using the App. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to scan and process any documents you use with the App. Limbic Apps does not access, store, or claim any rights over your documents.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Limbic Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of business, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The App may contain links to or integrate with third-party services (e.g. iCloud, Google AdMob, RevenueCat). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Upon termination, all licences granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, where required, in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
