My name is Andrew Leiper and I am the software engineer who helped develop the Terminus and Entra+ access control systems.
A brief history of the products:
1980 - Innovative Electronic Technology (IET) Ltd is formed by my father and mother, David and Susan Leiper to develop a variety of electronic products
1988 - The Tower access control product is released. One of the first distributed intelligence access control system, it was named after the Tower of London which was next to the first site it was installed on.
1992 - I joined the business and developed the TACS software to control the Tower system from a DOS PC.
1995 - WinTACS software is released to control the Tower system from a Windows PC.
2000 - Integra access control product is released to handle larger sites.
2001 - Terminus PC software is released for multi-pc control of Tower and Integra.
2014 - Securefast acquire IET Ltd.
2014 - Entra+ access control system is released.
2022 - OSL Group acquire Securefast plc and Securefast merges with CQR Security Ltd.
August 2025 - CQR Security Ltd cease manufacture and support of the Terminus and Entra+ product range.
