Spring 2021 CSU- Gender in the Economy
“Awesome class. Awesome instructor.”
“I truly enjoyed this course. I took this course because I needed to, and I was nervous that this course would be biased in ways, but it was not that. I learned so much from this course that can be applied to real life- YAY! Thank you for a great semester and for making the lectures interesting and applicable.”
“Teresa is a great instructor, she communicates clearly and she’s attentive to student questions and inquiries and has made this course very enjoyable. Teresa’s great!”
“The assessments were well done and helped my growth and a learner. There weren’t too many assignments, but the few that were helped my understanding.”
“You did phenomenal and made it comfortable and well formatted for trans students. Thank you and hats off. While there may not be much data on trans people, you did still include us in the conversation with the data we have. That helped SOOOO much! Thank you thank you thank you.”
Spring 2021-Front Range Community College
“She would make sure that no one had questions and she would use examples that related to us. She made her lectures relatable and she explained in great detail. She also made us do in class quizzes with some of our classmates and that helped me apply what I had just learned.”
“I think you did a great job of engaging us each class and really explaining the material we were learning. I really enjoyed how you set up the course, and I appreciate you actively making sure we could succeed on the in class quizzes. You were always in a good mood and really listen to the students. I was beyond happy that each quiz and homework gave us two attempts, because I genuinely would write down my mistakes and learn from them on my second attempt. It really boosted my confidence as well as my understanding. I think the assignments were laid out in a reasonable fashion, and I was super happy about the fact that there was not a humongous final. It is definitely hard for me to recall a semesters worth of material and still reasonably succeed, so overall I really loved the class and I think you are super awesome Teresa!”
“Thank you for a great semester! I understood the material a lot more than what I anticipated, and I believe that is because of how well you went over the material after the fact.”
“The instructor clearly understands the concepts and was able to provide worked examples to apply them. I liked that the instructor responded to questions so positively with "good question" and proceeded to answer, encouraging more responses and engagement.”
“I liked the way Teresa set up the class and how she laid out the homework and quizzes for the year. It was consistent and she made the content easy to retain.”
