Teresa Choir ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users and choir members. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected when using the Teresa Choir mobile application.
Teresa Choir is intended for authorized Teresa Choir members. Access to certain application features may require a valid choir access code or administrator approval.
By using Teresa Choir, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
When registering or accessing the application, we may collect:

Profile Photo (optional)
Choir Role and Membership Information
Users may voluntarily create, upload, or share content including:

Firebase Installation Identifiers

Information collected through Teresa Choir is used to:
Authenticate and identify choir members
Manage choir membership and profiles
Deliver announcements and event information
Enable messaging and communication features
Store and retrieve song files, PDF documents, audio files, and attachments
Send notifications related to choir activities

Provide technical support and troubleshooting
Teresa Choir allows authorized users to create, upload, and share content, including messages, images, PDF documents, audio files, and other attachments.
Content uploaded by users may be visible to other authorized members of the participating choir organization, depending on application features and permissions.
Users are solely responsible for the content they upload, share, or distribute through the application. Users should only upload content that they own or have permission to share.
Teresa Choir does not claim ownership of user-generated content. By uploading content, users grant Teresa Choir permission to store, process, and display such content solely for the purpose of providing application functionality.
We reserve the right to remove content that:
Infringes intellectual property rights
Contains harmful, malicious, or inappropriate material
Creates security risks for users or the application
Reporting Inappropriate Content
Users may report inappropriate, harmful, or unauthorized content to a choir administrator or by contacting Teresa Choir at linhnguyen701@yahoo.com.
Reported content will be reviewed and may be removed when it violates applicable laws, choir policies, intellectual property rights, or the safety of users.
Teresa Choir uses Google Firebase services to store, manage, and process application data, including:
Firebase Authentication
Firebase Firestore
Firebase Storage
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
Information may be stored on secure cloud infrastructure provided by Google.
Uploaded files, including images, PDF documents, and audio files, may be stored within Firebase Storage for access by authorized choir members.
Authorized choir administrators may have access to information and content shared within the application for the purpose of:
Managing choir communications
Publishing announcements
Organizing events
Supporting choir operations
Assisting users when necessary
Administrators are expected to use such access only for legitimate choir-related purposes.
The application may send notifications regarding:
New announcements
New messages
Event updates
Choir-related communications
Users may disable notifications through their device settings.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.
Information may only be shared:
With authorized choir administrators as necessary for choir operations
With Google Firebase services used to provide application functionality
When required by law or legal process
To protect the security, rights, or safety of users and the application
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Information transmitted between the application and cloud services is encrypted using industry-standard security protocols.
Users may initiate deletion of their Teresa Choir account from within the application by opening their profile or account settings and selecting “Delete Account.”
Account deletion removes the user’s account information and associated personal data that Teresa Choir is not legally required to retain. Users may be asked to confirm the deletion request to prevent accidental deletion.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Teresa Choir services, maintain choir records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the security of the application.
When an account deletion request is completed, personal information and associated user-generated content will be deleted within 30 days unless retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate security purposes. Certain backup copies may remain temporarily until they are automatically removed through normal backup-retention processes.
Teresa Choir is intended for members of participating choir organizations and is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.
Users may:
Update or correct their profile information
Remove their profile photo
Initiate deletion of their account and associated personal data from within the application
Contact Teresa Choir for assistance regarding their personal information
Users can initiate account deletion by opening their profile or account settings and selecting “Delete Account.” If assistance is needed, users may contact us using the information below.
Third-party service providers used by Teresa Choir, including Google Firebase, are required to process information only for providing the services requested by Teresa Choir and to maintain protections that are the same as or equivalent to those described in this Privacy Policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Changes will be posted within the application or on the published Privacy Policy page. The Effective Date will be updated whenever changes are made.
