The Malikov family had ruled over Ostorv since it’s inception, the family ruled peacefully for years. Under the reign of Celeste Malikov and Roman Ivanov, the country thrived during their reign with the introduction of brand new alliances with the neighboring countries. Celeste and Roman’s reign was the longest and most peaceful which to some was viewed as a direct insult to their kind.
After a long reign they were preparing for their eldest daughter, Roza to take over as was tradition, Roza and Nikola were the first to marry and eventually brought about the next generation. The family was blossoming and they were on the way to another strong reign.
On the night when the King and Queen were preparing to hand over the throne to their daughter there was an attack killing most of the court including Roza's husband and Nikola's wife and son. The remaining family went on the run, eventually they regrouped and took over a local criminal element growing it into a sizable empire until they can retake their homeland.
