[Jan 2025] Our paper titled "Analysis of Scintillation Effects in Terahertz Band Satellite Communications for 6G and Beyond" received the Best Paper Award Runner-Up recognition at the IEEE CCNC 2025.

[Dec 2024] M.Sc. Sergi Aliaga (the doctoral student co-supervised by Dr. Petrov) won the 2nd Prize at the 4MT International Ph.D. Thesis Competition at the IEEE GLOBECOM 2024.

[Dec 2024] A 3-hour invited tutorial "Near Field Terahertz MIMO Communications for 6G and Beyond: From Vision to Doing!" has been delivered at the IEEE GLOBECOM 2024 (together with Josep M. Jornet, Emil Björnson and Luca Sanguinetti).

[Nov 2024] The student project supervised by Dr. Petrov ranked by the IEEE Communications Society among the top-16 student research projects in the world in 2024.

[Sept 2024] A 3-hour invited tutorial "THz Wireless Sensing and Communication" delivered at the IEEE SPAWC 2024 together with Prof. Yasaman Ghasempour (Princeton University, USA).
