My name is Margit Tera. I’m a qualified Primary school teacher but also specialised in teaching English as a foreign language (EAL, ESL, EFL).

Before moving to the Netherlands I worked at a Primary school in Estonia teaching English. Since 2004 I’ve been supporting children in the Netherlands and preparing them for international schools all over the world. Three days a week I work at an international school in Amsterdam area.

In our multilingual world children come in contact with several languages at an early age and I think it’s important to include all their languages when learning a new language. During the English class we also pay attention to children’s home languages.

I’m passionate about learning new languages, spreading the love of reading and my aim is to teach the children to love learning.

If the children don’t want to learn the way I teach, I will need to teach them the way they want to learn.
