About Us

Charles "Chip" Hermann, President

Originally from Cleveland Ohio, Chip headed to Massachusetts for school and where he studied both Physics and Mandarin Chinese. He’s worked in financial services training machine learning models to identify insider trading before moving to a satellite data startup where he fell in love with all things product. As a product manager, Chip got to see all parts of the business and uses his familiarity with data and strong communication skills to build strong teams with a focus on the customer. When he’s not in class, he enjoys cooking new recipes and taking his dog Luna for walks while he talks too loudly on the phone.

Rahil Goyal, Executive Vice President

Rahil graduated with degrees in Chemical Engineering and Computer Science from India and transitioned into Product Management before coming to Tepper. As a PM, he developed skills like cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, and user-centric design. He is dedicated towards solving problems leveraging analytics and technology and loves to work in diverse teams. He is excited about joining Amazon as a Sr. Product Manager Technical Intern in the summer of 2021. In his free time, he likes to read, listen to music and run.

Stephen Chen, Vice President of Marketing

Prior to Tepper, Stephen spent four years working in environmental consulting and public utilities. He provided environmental support regarding property acquisition, redevelopment, and indoor air quality (vapor intrusion and environmental contamination). He then transitioned to a public utility for two years, implementing technology solutions to increase workplace efficiency. At Tepper, Stephen intends to make a transition into tech and will be interning as a Product Manager at HP out of their Geneva, Switzerland office. In his free time, he likes to play volleyball and basketball, journal, brew coffee, find the best street taco stands, and check out new breweries!

Hannah Zhang, Vice President of Career Development

Prior to Tepper, Hannah spent 4 years working in ExxonMobil Singapore. During this period, she has taken various roles and seen the business from both manufacturing and commercial angles. She worked cross functionally and had experience in process engineering, supplier and business partner management, and customer engagement. Hannah came to Tepper to explore the fast-growing technology sector and its impact in improving business results and making strategic decisions. In the summer of 2021, she will be joining Bain & Company as a summer associate. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, watching movies, and hanging out with friends!

Jack Guda, Vice President of Education

Jack was born and raised in Downingtown, PA before pursuing his B.S. in Computer Science from Penn State University. After graduation, Jack spent four years as a communications officer in the Marine Corps and one year as a product manager at a tech startup before coming to Tepper. He is excited to be joining Microsoft as a Program Manager intern for the summer of 2021. Jack enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, fitness, and drinking beer.

Maggie Jayarethinam, Vice President of Corporate Relations

Maggie joined Tepper after 5 years working in the Insurance industry across both Product Management and IT roles. She developed pricing strategies for Auto and Home insurance products, and led multiple IT teams to implement major initiatives. In her tenure, she gained expertise in the Insurance space, built relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders, and led diverse teams in achieving business goals. For Summer 2021, she will be interning at PwC as a Sr. Associate in the Financial Services – Customer practice. In her free time, she enjoys watching new shows, exploring hiking spots, raising her plant babies, and catching up with friends.

David Chang, Vice President of Strategic initiatives

Prior to Tepper, David served in the Army as an infantry officer after graduating with a B.S. in computer science from Virginia Military Institute. During his time in the Army, David was promoted above 32 officers to present recommendations directly to the battalion commander focused on risk mitigation, operation success, and efficient resource management. He then transitioned out of the Army and joined Cintas as a service manager where he learned to be customer focused. He collaborated closely with customers to understand their needs and generated an average of 20% incremental revenue growth in the first three months of new client on-boarding. David is a tech enthusiast and is pursuing concentrations in business technologies, strategy, and entrepreneurship. Outside of Tepper, David enjoys eating an excess amount of carbs, trying to win the affection of cats, and lifting weights.
