TENZING INGTY

Lab members

Makaila Carpenter.

I’m a graduate student in Dr. Ingty’s lab at Jacksonville State University. Prior to graduate school, I got my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education at JSU. I also work at the Anniston Museums and Gardens, where my love of all things nature drove me to come back to JSU for my Master's in Biology. My research aims to explore the impacts of climate change on Alabama's native prairie ecosystem, particularly ecosystem structure and function. I am also a graduate teaching assistant and will lead undergrad CURE labs as we gather and analyze data from our campus prairies.
