Ten Twenty Two is an African Production company dedicated to developing stories that resonate and inspire. Founded by Joel Tugaineyo and Lesham Kenogo, veterans of the East African entertainment industry with nearly a decade of experience, our mission is to create narratives that move people.

Joel Tugaineyo is a Ugandan Screenwriter/Director/Development Producer/Festival Curator with over 10 years of experience working in the film industry. In Uganda, he was Screenplay Consultant on the Netflix film: ‘Girl in the Yellow Jumper’ (2021), Festival Curator for 8 editions of the Ngalabi Short Film Festival, and ‘Mentor’ on European Union funded reality TV Series: ‘Opportunities Are Here’ (2024). In Kenya he wrote 3 episodes of the audio-drama-series: ‘Sounds of Freedom’ – currently broadcasting on Karura Forest Tours. In Nigeria, he wrote and directed the award-winning animated short: ‘Professor T.E.E &and the Problem Solvers’. In Germany/Ghana, he was the Show-runner on the web-series: ‘Yenti-Gyai: Tales from the Blue Bus’ (2021) produced by DW Akadamie.
Lesham Kenogo is a multifaceted filmmaker who has been working in the Ugandan film Industry since 2016. Getting her start as an actress, Lesham has explored various facets of the industry including Production Managing, first assistant directing (1st AD), and producing. She has produced over 52 Episodes of reality TV for Mnet, Worked as head of production for an Internationally Acclaimed Music Festival and has produced two feature length films and a theatre production for other production companies. With a passion for storytelling at the core of her artistic vision, Lesham is currently on a path to return to her roots as a writer and storyteller by working on her first feature film.
