The Salvation Army is providing a plethora of resources to aid our expansion from the Bay to Los Banos. This includes, but is not limited to, the physical space that The Salvation Army has consistently provided for Tensix to hold its events. Their services to the community include: family welfare assistance, refuge for women & children in crisis, homeless shelters and drug/alcohol rehabilitation.
We are proud to announce an ongoing Buy One Donate One partnership with ChefCentury, a platform connecting local chefs to our South Bay community. ChefCentury is committed to making lasting contributions to our community by working with local non-profit organizations, like Tensix, to help feed those in need. For every meal you buy from Tensix via ChefCentury's platform, a meal will be donated through Tensix to someone in need.
"A Different Kind of Commissary" - The owner of 1505 Kitchen Space, Chef Brad Kunkel, continues to provide a plethora of resources to help Tensix operate and serve its community. Chef Brad Kunkel shares Tensix's passion in fulfilling its mission.
Santa Maria Urban Ministry, a San Jose based nonprofit, helps connect Tensix with the local food insecure. Santa Maria Urban Ministry provides a wide variety of services including food pantry, tax preparation, clothes closet, adult learning classes and youth summer camps.
