We are family Standard Poodle breeders and are located in Nashville, Tennessee. We have been raising and breeding Standard Poodles for 40 years. We are currently breeding our Red, Cream, and Apricot Standard Poodles. We aim to provide high quality standard poodles of excellent type and temperament. Our sire and dams are genetically tested, including their hips, eyes (CERF) and test for bleeding disorders (Vwd). We breed occasionally, selectively, and adhere to the Standard Poodle breed standard. All of our puppies are AKC registered and come with limited registration. TVP does not approve of, or condone the crossbreeding of Standard Poodles.

About Us:

We currently have two working females,"Leia” and "Torrey" at the Nashville family home.

The puppies are born in the family room then moved to the dining room (made into a nursery) for the next 8 weeks. The puppies are handled several times a day to start the human bonding. We start potty training, as soon as they are able to go outside and start to get familiar with crate training. Each puppy is sent to its new home at 8 weeks having been vetted, dewormed, first shots and groomed. All new parents receive a packet with background of the Sire/Dam, a schedule of the feeding, potty training and nap time. The puppies take home a soft toy that smells like its litter mates. The families that purchase one of our puppies become a part of our extended family. We babysit, give advice and call on birthdays for that all important update.

Why a Standard Poodle?

While growing up we had a mentally disabled sister whom could not walk for many years therefore most of her time was spent on the floor. She was always covered with hair from our previous dog and that just wouldn’t do. In time after we lost our beloved dog, our mom decided on a Standard Poodle. Since they do not shed, this kept Lucy clean and their personalities were wonderful with her. A few of our puppies have been trained to go to hospitals and nursing homes visiting those whom are sick and unable to see their pets. Standard Poodles are truly a wonderful breed for any home.

Purchasing a TVP Puppy:

Our puppies don’t just go to any home. The first step is for our potential new owners to fill out our application and be approved to be able to love and care for your TVP poodle in the best manner possible. After approved we will notify new owners of that the female is pregnant, at this time we ask for a deposit to hold the puppy.

New puppy owners always enjoy coming to meet their puppy; we will do the best we can to accommodate your schedule. We will pick the puppy that has the correct temperament for your family. When it is time for puppy pickup, the final payment is due and there will be a contract for the new owner to sign stating that by the time the puppy is 6 months old it will be spayed or neutered. When TVP receives the Veterinarian's proof of the spay or neuter, we will send the registration for the AKC.
