Who Is Tenille Galloway?

I’m someone who believes in starting over when life doesn’t go as planned.

Like many people, my journey hasn’t been perfect. I’ve experienced so many challenges, setbacks, and moments that forced me to reevaluate everything. But instead of letting those moments define me or break my spirit, I chose to lean on God.

That decision and a whole lot of prayer is what led to the creation of my platforms, including First Step Blogging and What Grace Looks Like.

These aren’t just websites to me - they’re reflections of my journey, my lessons, and my commitment to helping others move forward no matter where they’re starting from.

As a community engagement professional, my work recently has centered around supporting individuals and families—especially those navigating difficult situations.

I know what how it feels to struggle and experience losses.  That's why I’ve found most of my enjoyment in helping people find resources to regain stability, and feel seen in moments where they might otherwise be overlooked. That work has shaped how I write, how I connect, and how I show up in every space I’m part of.

Toledo isn’t just where I was raised, it’s a community I care deeply about.

Why I Started Blogging

Blogging started as a way for me to share information.

But over time, I realized that it could become something more.

It became a way to:

• Help others learn how to build something online

• Help those who want to build websites for their companies, social profiles and personal pages

• Create a positive digital footprint that reflects growth, not just moments

• Tell stories in my own words

Through First Step Blogging, I teach beginners how to start their own blogs, understand SEO, and create content that actually reaches people.

Through What Grace Looks Like, I focus more on own personal growth, growing faith, and life experiences.

What I Stand For

Everything I create comes back to a few core beliefs:

• Growth is always possible

• With God all things are possible

• Your past does not define your future

• There is power in telling your own story

• You can survive emotional, mental and physical trauma
