PAYMENT

• Vacant spaces can only be reserved by paying the security fee (Rs.5000), monthly rent & by signing the Non-Disclosure Agreement. Security fee will be refundable while leaving the hostel. Terms & conditions apply.

• Will not claim any security fee or monthly rent (once paid in start or during the stay) while leaving the hostel

within the first six-months of non-disclosure agreement  with TENET hostel OR

within last month before university holidays (summer and winter).

• If new hostel admission or university holidays (summer & winter) are less than 30 days, seat charges will be charged as fixed charges. While mess charges may vary, half mess charges if holidays are after the 15th date and full if before the 15th date of month.

• During summer & winter vocations, 35% of monthly rent will be charged for each month respectively. While physical living in hostel during vocations, seat rent will be charged (without mess).

• All students must pay their monthly rent before 10th day of each month. No delays will be accepted.

• Committed monthly rent amount must be paid as whole no leasing is acceptable.

• Rent payment is accepted in cash and online on given banks. In case of online transections payment receipts must be shared on WhatsApp.

• All residents must pay their monthly rent to the hostel warden.

• Due to market uncertainty & inflation, rent can possibly increase any time during the stay, preferably 10-15% semester wise.

OTHER

• Meal served according to decided time & menu in the dining area. No serving in rooms unless sick. Any kind of interference in kitchen will not be accepted & kitchen will be locked exactly 11 o’clock every night.

• Hostel warden will issue single key for each room, students can make duplicate as required. During holidays keys must be submitted to the hostel warden & if unfortunately, keys lost by student than the cost of key/door lock will be charged.

• In winters warm water is the basic need for all students, currently we have immersion water heater rods available for each room. If all students need the electric water heater (Electric Geyser) extra charges/month will apply.

• Dustbins are placed on different locations of hostel, please use them for any waste material. Cleanliness is the half of faith.

• If unfortunately, hostel faces any mechanical, electrical or any other issue staff will require 2 – 3 days to fix it completely.

WARNING

• Students are not allowed to make any damage to the hostel building & facilities from any circumstance, if found they will be payable to whole damage/facility. Consider hostel your second home.

• The possession of any kind of weapons, alcoholic or other intoxicating drugs within the hostel are strongly prohibited.

• Inciting anyone to violence, disruption of the peaceful atmosphere of the hostel by making agitation speeches or gestures which may cause resentment and harassment or offending other individuals are not allowed. Maintain the discipline.

• TENET hostel management have rights to terminate any student any time on a short notice. No excuses will be accepted.
