Payment Terms & Conditions:

Security Fee:

   A non-refundable security deposit shall apply if the student vacates the hostel;

• Within the first six (6) months of signing this agreement; or

• Within the last thirty (30) days preceding university summer or winter vacations.

   The security deposit shall be refundable upon leaving the hostel if neither of the above conditions applies.

Resident Physical Occupancy Charges:

I. No physical occupancy for a fixed period of 30 days.

• During 30 days university summer and winter vacations, the resident shall pay 50% of the applicable monthly seat rent as Accommodation Retention & Maintenance Charges. 

II. Physical occupancy for a variable period of 1 to 30 days.

• 1–5 Days: Fixed at 60% of the applicable seat charges. 

• 6–10 Days: Fixed at 80% of the applicable seat charges. 

• 11–30 Days: Fixed at 100% of the applicable seat charges. 

III. Mess Charges upon physical occupancy

• 1–10 Days: Fixed at Rs.2000.

• 11–20 Days: Fixed at Rs.4000.

• 30 Days: Fixed at Rs.6000.

A monthly rent invoice will be issued by TENET Hostel, and payment must be made in accordance with the amount specified in the invoice. 

Monthly hostel rent shall be paid on or before the 8th day of each month.

A late payment fee of Rs. 100 per day will be charged for payments made after the due date. The applicable late fee will be added to the following month’s rent invoice. 

Payment shall be acknowledged only after the payment has been received in the designated TENET Hostel account and the payment receipt has been shared via WhatsApp. 

Electric geyser facility during the winter season shall be charged separately, as applicable. 

Once a student has enrolled at TENET Hostel and paid the security fee or monthly rent or both, no refund will be issued in the event that the student subsequently changes their mind or decides not to reside at the hostel. 

General Terms & Conditions:

• The resident shall not cause any damage to the hostel building, furniture, equipment, or other facilities. Any damage caused by the resident shall be repaired or compensated for at the resident's expense. 

• The resident shall comply with all mess membership rules, prescribed menus, and serving timings established by TENET Hostel Management. 

• The hostel warden shall provide one key per room. Any duplicate key required by the resident shall be made at its own expense. In case of loss of the master key, the resident shall be responsible for the applicable replacement cost. 

• Due to market conditions and inflation, hostel rent and other applicable charges may be revised during the student's stay. 

• Electric heaters and room coolers or the possession, use, or distribution of weapons, alcoholic beverages, narcotics, or any intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited within the hostel premises. 

• TENET Hostel Management reserves the right to terminate a resident's accommodation at any time during the stay in case of misconduct, violation of hostel rules, or any other matter deemed necessary by management.
