Introduction

Quickly generate text for messages and emails etc. by simply filling forms. SMS, emails, WhatsApp etc. are the common tools for written communication today. Despite the change in the medium of transmission the content and requirements of written communication has remained same. In many cases, especially for formal communications the template of the message remains the same and only pertinent points such as dates, names etc. and other entities changes. Some of the situations where the most of the message content remains the same are calls for meetings, invitations to parties, weddings, dinners, celebrations and congratulations etc. Similarly for businesses information such as inventory details, invoices, equipment status etc. also contain same text with minor change in values. In all these situations we can generate a common text encompassing all the desired and required values and fields for generating same message. This would ensure not only standardization but also that we have covered all the points required to be included in the message or email.

Quick Message App

Quick Messages App provide you the platform for generating text using forms. The fields of the form are variable values that are to be changed while the rest of the message remains the same. The App not only contains 34 predefined message templates for most of the social and professional scenarios but it also provides the ability to create your own templates along with fields for forms.

How It Works

Open the Quick Messages App on your phone. List of messages would be displayed as shown in the following figures:-

Select the desired message category and then select the desired message as shown in following figure:-

Now the form for the selected message will be displayed. Fill the form and then press OK.

Congratulations, your message is ready. Now you can send it via SMS by pressing the SMS button or you can share the text created via WhatsApp, Email or any other communication App available on your phone.

Creating New Category

You can also create your own category with your custom messages. In order to do that press on the the "Add Category" button on the main screen. This is display a popup asking for name of the new category. Enter the name and press OK.

Creating a New Message Template in a Category

You can write your own message templates in a few steps. First select a category in which you want to add a new message template. In the following figure, the category does not contain any messages so an empty popup is displayed. Now press the plus button on the lower right corner of the screen to add a new message template.

This will open a new screen, enter the desired text. When you want to make a field for the form, press the green plus button on the right side of the screen this will open a popup asking for the name of the field. The field will be displayed in the text message between two curly brackets.

Once all information has been added, press the save button to store the new template in memory. Now you can use this template as form to generate the text.

Editing Existing Templates

Any template available in the App can be edited by selecting it as form and pressing the edit button on lower left side of the popup. The editing is same as creating new template.
