Assessment

Requirements

Students will be evaluated according to participation in seminar discussions (20%), 2 short quizzes (5% each) and 3 papers: 2 papers of critical/interpretative nature, 8 pp. (25% each), and one final creative written exercise of 5 pp. (10%). For the first two papers it will be possible to submit revisions. The final paper will allow students to try different registers and different modes of engagement in a creative piece.

The following texts are located at the campus bookstore or can be purchased online. They are to be read in their entirety and constitute the basis for class discussions, papers, and the final exam.
