The Tell-a-Funny Project

The Tell-a-Funny project was birthed at a housewarming party. My friend's new house came with an old style pay phone on the back porch. The old bell south pay phones. You have seen them before. During the party I couldn't get over how many people were messing with it, picking up the handset to see if it worked. It didn't. People where enamored. I thought to myself, if only it took pictures of them while they messed it with so they could see themselves...

And there was the idea of The Tell a Funny Project. Tell a funny, is a dumb pun on the word Telephony. I never said this was a good idea.

When done with the project, picking up the handset will start a joke, more than likely from an online joke API, then the text will be sent to a text-to-voice service and then played for the person can listen. Meanwhile, the phone will be recording their reaction, it will then post the joke along with the video of their reaction.
