Hi, I’m Teke — a Chicago hair artisan, colorist, professional hair nerd, and deeply curious student of the science of hair.

I want to know how you actually live in your hair: what you love, what frustrates you, how much time you want to spend on it, and how you want to feel when you look in the mirror. You never need to know the exact salon vocabulary. Bring me your pictures, tell me what your hair is doing and what you wish it would do, and we’ll build the plan together.

Appointments with me are collaborative. I’ll explain what I’m seeing, why your hair is doing what it’s doing, what I recommend, and what makes sense for your hair, your lifestyle, and your goals. Questions are always welcome.

I work with color, blonding, cutting, chemical retexturizing, extensions, and textured hair, with hair health at the center of every service.

I offer non-gendered pricing because the work should be priced according to the work.
