Hello! Welcome to my homepage!

I am Tejbir, an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at IIT Kanpur, India, under the mentorship of Dr. Pooja Singla.

I completed my PhD in September 2023 from the IISER Mohali, India, under the supervision of Prof. Krishnendu Gongopadhyay.

Research Interests: Group theory, hyperbolic geometry, geometric structures on surfaces, geometric group theory, representation theory, Lie groups and Lie algebras.

My research contributes to various aspects of geometry using linear algebraic tools, with a primary focus on investigating reversibility in groups, adjoint reality in Lie algebras, quaternionic Kleinian groups, and linear preserver problems of geometric significance. I am also interested in counting reciprocal elements in Kleinian groups, dynamics on representation varieties of groups, the conjugacy growth of commutators in groups, and the real conjugacy classes of linear groups over local rings.
