I am Tejbir, currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Theoretical Statistics and Mathematics Unit at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Delhi Centre, India, since December 2025.

Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at IIT Kanpur (November 2023 – November 2025), under the mentorship of Dr. Pooja Singla. I completed my PhD in September 2023 at IISER Mohali, India, under the supervision of Prof. Krishnendu Gongopadhyay.

Research Interests: Linear algebra, group theory, hyperbolic geometry, representation theory, Lie groups, and Lie algebras.
My research primarily focuses on investigating reversibility in groups, adjoint reality in Lie algebras, quaternionic Kleinian groups, and linear preserver problems. I am also interested in exploring the geometric properties of numerical ranges arising from Lie group actions and various matrix decomposition problems.
