I am Tejbir, currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Theoretical Statistics and Mathematics Unit at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Delhi Centre, India, since December 2025.

Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at IIT Kanpur, working under the mentorship of Dr. Pooja Singla (November 2023 – November 2025). I completed my PhD at IISER Mohali, India, under the supervision of Prof. Krishnendu Gongopadhyay (July 2018–September 2023).

Research Interests: Matrix theory, group theory, hyperbolic geometry, representation theory, Lie groups, and Lie algebras.
My research focuses on reversibility in groups of geometric and algebraic interest, real adjoint orbits in Lie algebras, the dynamics of quaternionic Kleinian groups, and linear preserver problems in matrix algebras.
