Questions From Seniors
Q: How does payment work?
A: Our volunteers are very flexible when it comes to payment options. Most seniors opt to simply receive a call about 15 minutes before the delivery with the cost of the groceries and leave a check out in front. However, we can also work with apps like Venmo.
Q: What sanitary precautions do you take?
A: Our volunteers are mandated to wear gloves and a mask, and wipe down bags and groceries in accordance with CDC guidelines. They also sign a binding pledge that they experience no cold/flu symptoms and have not been out of the country or around anyone who has tested positive in the previous two weeks.
Q: What should I send to your email address if I’m interested?
A: Please provide us with your name, home address, and availability to receive groceries in the email. We will then put you in contact with a volunteer that matches your location and schedule, and they will take your grocery list.
Q: Do you only do groceries or can you pick up other essential items like medication?
A: Our volunteers are cleared to pick up anything essential, including medication.

Q: I am not a teenager but want to volunteer. Will you accept me?
A: Of course! We need as many volunteers as we can get. Now is not the time to turn anyone down!
Miscellaneous Questions
Q: How can I donate to your organization?
A: We are an entirely non-profit organization. Thus, we cannot take donations, and the most our volunteers are allowed to accept during deliveries is gas money. However, if you would like to donate to help the situation, we would strongly encourage making one out to the CDC Foundation at the following link: https://www.cdcfoundation.org/coronavirus. Alternatively, if you give us extra money during a delivery, we will forward to this organization.
Q: I am not a senior but have a compromised immune system. Can you deliver to me?
A: Absolutely! We are willing to help out anyone who is vulnerable to the virus!
