Hello!!

I am a fifth-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Houston, working under the supervision of Dr. Vaughn Climenhaga. My research interests lie in Dynamical Systems, Symbolic Dynamics, and Thermodynamic formalism, with a particular focus on the Ornstein's d-bar Metric. I am broadly interested in understanding the quantitative behavior of invariant and equilibrium measures and the connections between metric, probabilistic, and dynamical properties of symbolic systems. My recent work establishes effective uniqueness of the measure of maximal entropy in the d-bar metric, giving quantitative estimates for how close invariant measures with nearly maximal entropy must be to the MME.

I am currently serving as an Instructor of Record (IOR) for an undergraduate mathematics course. I have also served as a Lead Teaching Assistant, coordinating grading, mentoring teaching assistants, and collaborating with instructors.
