Eligibility

• Undergraduate and prospective graduate students in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Nuclear Engineering, or related fields

• Students interested in electromagnetic waves, microwaves, millimeter waves, and terahertz applications. Also students interested in exploring beam/plasma physics, high-power vacuum electronic devices, or novel material applications

• Individuals who wish to grow in interdisciplinary and collaborative research environment

Research Opportunities

• Participation in millimeter-wave/THz band simulations and experimental studies

• Involvement in the design and fabrication of vacuum electronic devices

• Hands-on experience with plasma–electromagnetic wave interaction experiments

• Opportunities to participate in domestic and international conferences

• Open to both undergraduate research interns and graduate students
