TEDX Youth@GarthWebb

Save the Date

Join us on May 9th at 2820 Westoak Trails Blvd to hear what Garth Webb's own students have to say about the challenges they face and conquer every day, and how their learning will help to make their future clearer.

The evening will run from 7:00 until 9:00 pm, including an intermission with concessions available for purchase.

Advisory

Upon entering the parking lot proceed to Door 1 and take your first left to the cafeteria. We advise all attendees to remain quiet while our presenters are giving their speeches. There will be a break in between each speech alongside the halfway intermission; use that time to buy concessions, go to the bathroom, or socialize.

Tickets will be available for FREE on School Cash Online starting April 25. Tickets are on a first come first serve basis, so book your spot ASAP.

The theme for Garth Webb's first TEDx Youth event is Building Our Own Future: Teenage Empowerment for a Prospective Tomorrow. High school is one of the most crucial and stressful parts of someone's life, and without knowing what the future of technology, politics, and advancements may hold it's difficult to know if you are forging the right path. Luckily, young people have a great capacity to educate one other in lessons school can't teach. Come learn with us!
