Sahrdaya College of Engineering & Technology, was established in the year 2002 under Irinjalakuda Diocesan Educational Trust at Kodakara, Thrissur. The Trust belongs to the Catholic Diocese of Irinjalakuda, a Christian (Syro-Malabar) minority community. The Registered Office of the Trust is located at Catholic Bishop’s House, Irinjalakuda – 680121, Thrissur District, Kerala State, India. Currently, Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. The college has completed more than a decade in its functioning and has proven its excellence and achieved First Rank in pass percentage among all the engineering colleges in the state, consistently for five consecutive years, under the University of Calicut. The environment in Sahrdaya paves way for an ideal learning ambience, providing exposure to different cultures and perspectives for fruitful and meaningful interactions. The inspired mindset of Sahrdaya helps to provide quality education and inculcate human values in students to embrace new challenges and seize new opportunities. Over 1700 student population represent a cross-section of the State’s demographic spectrum cutting across barriers of religion, caste, creed and gender. The 200 plus Sahrdaya faculty and staff too are as diverse as the student community. The Campus is nestled in a wooded valley of 45 acres (18.2 hectares) end to end with landscaped expanses, breezy shadowy meadows, and crystal clear water bodies of varying sizes and shapes. A silver stream meanders across the vast stretch of greenery to its distant destination in the valleys beyond the hills. Thecampus has its aesthetically planted orchards of Fruit laden trees.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Center is an institutional mechanism to create entrepreneurial culture in Sahrdaya and the nearby places to foster growth of innovation and entrepreneurship amongst the faculty, students and common people. IEDC Sahrdaya is recognised as the coordinating centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship cluster 10 of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Centre is Awarded with Excemplery performance Award of Kerala Startupmision and Entrepreneurship Enabler Award of Government 2018 for its contribution to entrepreneurial ecosystem at Kerala.

We’ve gone by a few names since started nine years ago (2008). Originally we were Socialping, which was founded to provide awesome and affordable real-time Twitter analytics to companies around the world. Shortly after the launch of our analytics platform, and with a huge nudge from employees at PayPal, we created the first version of our Tweetwall offering.

IEDC Summit 2019

India’s Largest Summit for Aspiring Entrepreneurs

Established in 2016, the IEDC Summit is an annual event held by the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) to engage with Student Entrepreneurs on the most pressing topics facing their innovation journey. The primary goals of the Summit are to provide a platform where the student entrepreneurs across the country to come together, to share the success stories, to learn from each other’s failure, to showcase innovative products and to develop strong networks that go a long way in developing sustainable enterprises. The summit through various interactive sessions and talk series, engages with the students and aspires to (1) empower them to explore innovative ideas(2) provide youth with the tools to build and engage in impactful projects and scalable enterprises, and (3) promote dialogue between youth, the KSUM, and other key stakeholders globally.
