About TEDxBlaine

TEDxBlaine is in it’s 2nd year of bringing TED’s movement of “ideas worth sharing” to a community brimming with our own thought-provoking ideas. This event will provide a forum in which extraordinary thinkers and doers can share ideas and spark meaningful change to our community and beyond. This TEDx speaking series will host speakers in front of a diverse live audience of 100 people curated for this event. Each talk will be recorded and showcased on the global TED website. The event will be held on Saturday May 9th, 2020 from 2pm to 5:30pm.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxBlaine, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxBlaine event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
