I am an experienced Leicester City Councillor, with more than 20 years of service to the Saffron Community and other parts of the City. Some highlights of my time as a councillor are:
Campaigning with the community for the replacement of the former Boot Houses
Founder of Saffron Young People’s Project
Founder of the National Space Centre
The 88th Lord Mayor of Leicester
Received an MBE for services to culture and the community
I am a qualified and experienced social worker and youth and community worker, and former De Montfort University lecturer and manager, I am delighted to be coming home to Saffron Ward so that I can stand up for and support the residents of the whole ward.
