The purpose of this portfolio is to showcase my academic accomplishments with a reflection on how I've achieved the Program Learning Outcomes in alignment with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, at California State University, Stanislaus. I will be sharing academic artifacts with goals of illustrating my personal and professional development as a nurse. I hope to demonstrate my commitment in making a positive impact on our vulnerable, underserved communities.
I was born and raised in Stockton, California. While attending high school, I earned three Associate of Arts degrees in Interdisciplinary Studies, including the Arts and Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Teacher Education. Afterwards, I continued my education at the University of California, San Diego, earning my Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology. Through navigating my career, I found the most fulfillment working in healthcare. I enjoy collaborating with healthcare teams to assist patients in improving their health holistically, while providing guidance through evidence-based practice and patient-centered care. I am committed to caring for underserved communities, as I believe that everyone deserves a chance to thrive. I recognize that a helping hand can make all the difference in someone's life and apply this belief as my main motivation to help my community.
Currently, I am completing my senior clinical practicum at Doctor's Medical Center's Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I am anticipated to graduate with my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from California State University, Stanislaus in May 2026.
