This portfolio reflects my development as a nursing student by illustrating my academic accomplishments, leadership skills, integration of evidence-based practice, and implementation of foundational nursing skills. These assignments have enabled me to accomplish the Program Learning Outcomes of a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing at California State University, Stanislaus. Each academic artifact was purposely linked in alignment with domains and personal reflections. The certifications that I've obtained illustrates my commitment to acquiring knowledge in order to promote safe, high-quality care throughout my practice, especially in life-threatening scenarios. My letters of recommendations are included as well, to demonstrate my professional competencies and personal growth throughout this program. I hope that I was able to demonstrate my dedication to making a positive impact on our vulnerable, underserved communities. 

In order to continuously improve in my development as a nurse, I will continue to be mindful of my patients and their families. I will address my patients' needs holistically and provide them with accessible resources, necessary referrals, and patient education at their health literacy level. I will continue to work on improving my time management skills, critical thinking, and clinical skills overall. Lastly, I will always advocate for my patients in aims of achieving health equity while targeting improvements for their social determinants of health.
