There are four levels of Google Certification for teachers. All levels have unique challenges and opportunities for growth. Scroll through this page to see what the levels are and tips to succeed.
This is the first certification for teachers and covers the G Suite and how it can be used purposefully as a teacher. Go to the Google Teacher Center to access extensive review items and to take the exam. Use the Google Task cards on the left to get a quick overview of skills tested.
The second level builds on the skills you showcase in level one and dive deep into the application of the ISTE standards with technology use. Once again the Google Teacher Center is the place to learn and test.
This level is extremely rewarding as an educator because access is given to beta products, advanced professional development and collaboration of resources. It is application based and an elite group that continually offers training and shared resources to others. Search for trainers in your area with the button.
A Google Certified Innovator as an application based certification and if accepted the teacher gets training at a collaborative event at one of the Google Headquarters. There are some folks who are innovators and trainers.
