About Me
Welcome! My name is Amber Trout and I am currently the Instructional Technology Manager at Pear Deck. I left my job as an Instructional Coach at a middle school after 11 years in public education to work in EdTech. I have worked with all grade levels K-8 while being in public education. I previously was the Lead Launch teacher for the Project Lead The Way program, and taught computer coding to grade K-5. I also ran the online digital academy for online electives for students 6-8. My specialty is in blended learning and technology and I provide professional development to educators in Colorado around instructional technology. I am a Google Certified Educator and Trainer, GEG (Google Education Group) Leader for Colorado, Global GEG Leader, an Apple Certified educator, and a Microsoft Innovative Educator, Flipgrid Ambassador, BrainPOP Certified Educator, to name a few.
In my free time (when I have it) I love to be outdoors. If I'm not doing that I am learning something new to show to educators. Learn more about me in my random autobiography below!
