This privacy policy governs your use of the mobile application Smart Tools (referred to as "the App"), built as a free, ad-supported utility suite. The App is designed to offer a variety of offline and local tools, including a GPS Speedometer, Document Scanner, Parking Locator, Compass, and Calculators.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy.
1. Information Collection and Use
We do not collect, store, or share any personal identity information. All processes, measurements, calculations, and scans occur locally on your device.
A. Location Permissions
The App requests access to your device's precise location (GPS) to enable:
Speedometer & Trip Tracker: Calculating speed, distance, and trip routes.
Parking Locator: Saving the geographic coordinates of your parked vehicle to guide you back using radar direction.
Note: Your location data is processed live on the device. It is never uploaded to any external server, shared with third parties, or cached online.
B. Camera & Storage Permissions
The App requests access to your camera and local storage/media gallery to enable:
Document Scanner: Snapping scans of documents and saving them locally as images.
Parking Photos: Snapping a picture of your parking spot surroundings to help you find your car.
Note: All captured photos and documents are stored strictly in your device's local internal storage. We do not have access to your pictures or files.
2. Third-Party Services & Advertising
The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device. The App integrates:
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): AdMob uses advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID) and cookies to serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements based on your usage behavior.

3. Data Retention and Security
Since all user data (including scanned documents, trip history, notes, and parking spot records) is stored locally in the App's private database (SharedPreferences and document folders), this data is automatically deleted when you uninstall the App from your device.
We implement standard industry measures to keep the app secure, but remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
4. Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
