We are a small club consisting of 15- 30 members located in Gatineau. We meet up weekly on Saturday from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. We are a volunteer led organization that strives to share STEM with children and youth from underrepresented groups in tech.
2nd Place IEEE ORC Robotics Moon Rover Challenge 2023 🏆
The ¨Next-UP¨ group consists of a variety of young kids from grades 1-4 who are curious and interested about technology and its uses. They participate in experiments to learn the basic tenants of exploration and design. These kids have focused on a variety of projects and platforms from Codepen to Scratch. Their Teacher and Supervisor is Ms.Okakwu.
The "Techsmart" group consists of kids from grades 5- 8 who love to use their cognitive skills to develop fun projects. In the past, Techsmart have used Lego Mindstorms to create Lego-based robots and create 3D designs from Tinkercad. They are lead by their teacher, Mr.Oginni.
The Virtual Champions are a group of enthusiastic tweens and teens from grades 9 to 12 who are eager to achieve their goals and dreams in the realm of technology. In the past, this group has focused on creating line-following robots using Arduino and learning how to code using Python. This group is lead by Uncle Sam
