Velociraptor means quick plunderer. It had one sickle-shaped claw on its foot and a smaller one on each hand. It was warm blooded and had feathers.

Tyrannosaurus Rex means tyrant lizard. Its massive jaws were lined with 50-60 serrated teeth, some measuring 9" long. Its 4' long jaws were big enough to swallow an adult human!

The Plateosaurus was the first long-necked plant eater in the Triassic. They used both hands to pull leaves off trees. Its name means broad lizard.

The Apatosaurus or deceptive lizard, was a large herbivore related to the Brontosaurus. It had chisel-like teeth, but likely swallowed plants whole, without chewing.
