Your Task: After reading the directions below, Click on the Magic School Student Room above to understand this tool from a student's perspective.
Scenario: You are a student. You have been assigned an essay on a historically significant figure in African American History of your choice, and their contributions to the Civil Rights Movement. Your teacher has given you 3 minutes to use the research assistant to help you better understand the contributions made by your chosen person. Next, your teacher has asked you to spend the next few minutes developing an introductory paragraph, with the assistance of the chatbot. Finally, your teacher has asked you to paste your writing into the feedback assistant.
Task: You will write an essay on the contributions made to the Civil Rights Movement by a historically significant African American Figure of your choice
Step by Step Directions:
Choose your historically significant African American Figure (Rosa Parks, Medgar Evers, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Harriet Tubman, W.E.B. Dubois, Booker T. Washington........etc)
Access the Magic School Student Room above.
Access Google Drive and create a new Google Doc, or open a Word document on your computer
Using the Chatbot as a thought partner, and the research assistant, build an introductory paragraph
As you develop your introductory paragraph, type it into the document that you opened
You can copy and paste your thoughts into the ChatBot and the feedback assistant, but you are not allowed to copy and paste from ChatBot or the research assistant to your document (if you use a Google Doc, this is very easy to identify, and I can also show you how to determine copy and paste using Brisk AI)
Remember, if you finish before the allotted time is up, work on building your first body paragraph.
