A business unit governance is a collection of process definitions that begins with the roles, servers, benefits, and process of the program. Process definitions are appended the the governance and define the goals, roles, workflow and examples for the process. Workflows list management approved requirements for process completion that define what is required to complete a process, not how to do it. Each process requirement may be linked an external instructions document that is not approved by management.
