Evaluate verbally the limitations and benefits of each wave model.
Use Brush Ninja to show how an earthquake under the water causes a tsunami and how it interacts with the shoreline.
3.A Analyze and interpret data from different wave models to identify patterns in how the tsunami wave forms and moves toward shore, changing height (amplitude) as it interacts with the ocean floor.
3.B Evaluate the limitations and benefits of different wave models for explaining how tsunamis form from a movement in the ocean floor (cause), and how they move and change as they approach the shore (effect).

Gifs
(pronounced like the peanut butter)
We will be creating Gif/Animations to show what you predict would happen when tectonic plates collide and how tsunamis occur.
Create an animation of your OWN and we will then post all of our predictions on a class Padlet. We will then we'll compare, contrast, analyze and discuss all of the predictions and come to a consensus.
