Technology and the Skilled Trades (TAS1O) combines the different technological studies programs offered at UHS, including graphic design, TV/ video production, technological design, construction & manufacturing.
Exploring Computer Technology (TEJ1O) focuses on the fundamentals in computer technology, including engineering, programming, electronics, robotics, computer hardware and career.
Yes, Grade 10 Tech courses do not have prerequisites.

Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Audition and Animate) are taught and used. Students have free access to Adobe CC subscription in the semester when they're enrolled in Communications Technology (TGJ2O/ TGJ3M/ TGJ4M/ TGG4M).
SketchUp and Autodesk Revit are taught and used. Students have free access to both when they're enrolled in Technological Design courses (TDJ2O/ TDJ3M/ TDJ4M)
All courses in the Technological Education department qualify for the STEM program.
