If you have been notified that you are waitlisted or not admissible, we are certain this is not the response you anticipated. However, due to the highly competitive nature of the program, not all applicants meeting the minimum requirements will be offered a seat. Although we cannot provide personalized feedback to each applicant, the following offers some guidance on how to strengthen your application for future submissions.
Increase related industry experience years
Document all related industry experience above and beyond the minimum years required
Provide letters from each of your employers. If you cannot get a letter from previous/current employers, you need to provide a sworn statement as required by OCT. Please review Sample Templates of supporting documents for wage-earning experience letters, and refer to the OCT Technological Education Registration Guide for further information about sworn statements and required items for proof of competency and work experience
Review the Ministry of Education curriculum documents for the broad-based technology subject area you are applying under - make connections to how your specific industry experiences have prepared you to teach the various curriculum areas
