Led by Josh Topf (right) and Avery Yee (left), both students at Edgemont Jr./Sr. High School, Tech Angels is a volunteer organization that aims to help senior citizens navigate the complex world of technology. The Tech Angels hold sessions at local community/senior centers around Westchester County, New York, welcoming any senior resident who is looking for guidance.

Having been immersed in technology from a young age, Josh and Avery naturally developed the essential skills required to adapt and keep up with the ever-changing world of technology. Their idea to start this initiative originally stemmed from personal experience with their grandparents. Whilst teaching their grandparents simple tips and tricks on their iPhones and iPads, it occurred to them that there are most likely many other senior citizens with similar challenges and no one to help them.
