"I have had the opportunity as the current Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Programs, to observed her work in different capacities within our district. Mrs. Ridgeway has exhibited strong skills in the area of instructional leadership, resilience, faculty development, project management, teamwork and communication. She thrives to enhance her knowledge in the academic and leadership arena to be a better educator and leader of students, teachers and colleagues.  In her tenure within our institution, Mrs. Ridgeway has exhibited an unparalleled commitment to excellence, a remarkable capacity for leadership, and an unwavering dedication to the enhancement of educational experiences.

In the past year, Mrs. Ridgeway has supported areas outside of the realm of her current assignment. She stepped up with others when we had a need for assistance in the area of secondary math. She assisted with ensuring teachers were provided professional development on how to navigate the new adopted materials and ensured students across our district had access to the curriculum, materials and resources. She assisted schools and district administrators in working with publishers as she also navigated her role as a technical resource teacher with additional assignments to support her department and district as needed. She demonstrated exceptional versatility and proficiency. Her work ethic and willingness to support her team are some of her attributes that landed her the District Instructional Resource Teacher of the Year. This accolade stands testament to her exceptional abilities and the profound impact she has made district wide.
