1. Introduction

Welcome to Tech Power Upp Guide ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how our application works. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we store it, and what rights you have regarding your data.

Tech Power Upp Guide is an independent educational guide application created solely to help users learn about computer hardware. We do not copy, reproduce, or claim ownership of any third-party brand's content, logos, or proprietary materials.

By downloading, installing, or using Tech Power Upp Guide, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please discontinue use of the application.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies solely to the Tech Power Upp Guide mobile application distributed through the Google Play Store and any future official distribution channels operated by us. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or applications that may be referenced within our educational content.

This policy is designed to comply with applicable privacy regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) where applicable, and Google Play Developer Program Policies.

3. Information We Collect

Tech Power Upp Guide does not require user registration, login credentials, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, photos, microphone access, or camera access.

We do not operate our own servers and do not directly collect or store personal information on systems controlled by us.

Educational guide content, bookmarks, recent history, and app preferences are stored locally on your device only, as described in Section 4 of this policy.

When you use features that display advertisements, third-party advertising partners (Google AdMob) may collect certain information automatically. See Section 6 (Advertising) for full details.

4. Locally Stored Data

To provide core functionality, certain non-personal data is stored exclusively on your device using local storage mechanisms (Room database and DataStore preferences). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

The following data may be stored locally on your device:

You may delete all locally stored data at any time through the Settings screen by using the "Clear Bookmarks" and "Clear Recent History" options. Uninstalling the application will permanently remove all locally stored data from your device.

5. How We Use Information

Locally stored data is used solely to enhance your in-app experience. Bookmarks allow you to save guides for later reading. Recent history helps you quickly return to guides you were studying. Theme and text size preferences personalize the display to your comfort.

We do not use your locally stored data for profiling, marketing, or selling to third parties.

Advertising data is processed by Google AdMob to display and measure ads within the App. We do not control how Google uses this data. Please refer to Section 6 for advertising-related data practices.

6. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Tech Power Upp Guide displays advertisements through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC. Ads help support the free availability of this educational application.

Types of ads shown in the App:

Internet connection required for ads: Educational content (guides, glossary, search, bookmarks) works offline. An active internet connection is required only to load and display advertisements.

Data that may be collected by Google AdMob when ads are shown may include:

Google may use this information to serve ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and improve ad relevance. Ads may be personalized based on your interests and activity, or non-personalized depending on your device settings and applicable laws.

We do not receive your name, email, phone number, or other directly identifying personal information from Google AdMob through normal ad delivery.

How to manage or limit ad personalization:

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Google may show a consent message (via Google User Messaging Platform) before serving personalized ads, in compliance with applicable regulations.

Children: The App is educational and suitable for general audiences. If you are a parent or guardian, we recommend supervising children's use of apps that contain advertisements and reviewing Google's family and child privacy policies.

7. Original Content & No Brand Copying

Tech Power Upp Guide was developed exclusively as an educational learning guide. It is not a copy, clone, or reproduction of any other app, website, publication, or commercial brand.

We confirm that we have NOT copied, scraped, downloaded, or republished:

All guide content inside this App is original educational material written in our own words for general learning purposes about computer hardware and technology.

No Affiliation: Tech Power Upp Guide is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to TechPowerUp (techpowerup.com), Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, or any other hardware manufacturer, retailer, or technology publication.

Trademark Notice: Product names, company names, and brand names may appear in guides only to identify hardware topics for educational reference. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

8. Share and Clipboard Features

The application includes optional share and copy-to-clipboard features. These are initiated only when you explicitly choose to use them.

When you use the share feature, content is passed to your device's native Android share sheet. We do not monitor, record, or control what you share or with whom.

9. Children's Privacy

Tech Power Upp Guide is an educational application suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through our own systems.

Because the App displays third-party advertisements via Google AdMob, data related to ad delivery may be processed by Google when ads are shown. Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of the App.

10. Data Security

Locally stored app data remains on your device. The security of this data depends primarily on the security of your device.

When ads are loaded, data is transmitted over the internet to Google's servers using HTTPS.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

11. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding personal data, including access, correction, deletion, and objection to processing.

For data stored locally in the App:

For advertising-related data processed by Google:
