It is worth mentioning here that this competition is between iOS and Android. There is no third operating system available to run your smartphone. These two operating systems are expected to remain on the horizon without any other competitor.

People who love iOS say that it is the most easy-to-use operating system that you can have on your smartphone. The truth is, Android is as easy-to-use as iOS.
Ten years ago, the iOS was much more advanced compared to Android. Frequent upgrades and bug fixes have resulted in things tipping towards Android. Android gives you more control over your phone and its applications.

Apple pays special attention to iPhones. That is why they are always beautiful. Android phones, however, vary big time.
Samsung and Google produce smartphones that are visually attractive from every aspect. Samsung phones look more premium compared to simple-looking Google Pixel phones. A lot of other Android phone manufacturing companies tend to produce the best-looking smartphones to attract their customers.
Apple, on the other hand, uses tried and tested methods while developing iPhone designs. They do not go for the design innovations that might end up with flaws. In general, iPhones have a better fit and finish compared to Android phones.
Part of the reason is that Apple does not produce cheap or mid-range variants of their flagship models. That is why if you want to get a low-cost flagship iPhone, you will have to go for a used one.

Siri, on the other hand, is pretty basic. It can answer some questions, but you will not find it much of an assistant.

While Android continues to face security problems, the question is not whether it has a robust system in place. Google allows many apps to enter its Play Store without much of a security check. Apple, on the other hand, scrutinizes an app quite well before entering it into the App Store to make sure it is not a security threat to an iPhone user. Another reason iOS is more secure is that it get more timely updates compared to Android.
